How did you get this impression? I agree with you that tyler would be fine if JR was, as you say, fucking with him but i don't get the impression at all that he tries to be dominant  or tool his guests.... he's just a man expressing himself.  If for example Joey Diaz is being a retard he'll call him out on it.
The only person he tools is Brian Redban and he does that every show.

Joe Rogan is awesome and his podcast is absolutely the best, highest quality, most entertaining and most watched video podcast on the internet today, but he does like to fuck with his guests in kind of a subtle way.  If you've watched more than 10 episodes of the JRE you've probably noticed it.  It's a frame control thing, and I think he's also sort of challenging his guests to step up and be top notch.  I'm pretty sure Owen could handle it in stride though.  And the exposure would be huge.

Agree his podcast is the best, most high-quality show out there right now. And I know the thing youre talking about, I notice it as well. However..

I do not think hes trying to fuck with his guests...I dont think he actively tries to "frame control" either...I just think he has a strong frame... Probably as a result, largely because he makes his living by having strong a frame and being able to project it onto crowds. Definitely agree that he fucks with Brian every show (lol), but thats what Brian gets for being on the show. Brian gets to be famous and Joe can openly mock the ridiculousness of Redban without censoring himself. Its a win win win.

For someone like Owen, it would be very interesting to observe the social dynamics at play, should he get on the podcast -- but because they both individually are focused on offering value, being the party, staying grounded in their own energy, meditation, growing as people, constantly evolving, etc. -- for me it would be like watching some kind of weird magical dance between two social anomalies who, know how to express themselves clearly... AND humorously... based on YEARS experience. On top of that they both actually have something to SAY (my opinion is that by just listening to either of these guys you will learn something). On top of THAT they go out of their way to make their shit as entertaining as possible, making it as easy as possible to learn from what they have to say.

Both dudes put themselves out there for again, YEARS, to get rejected on a daily/semi-daily basis (through stand-up for Joe and pick-up for Owen, which, interestingly, one gets better at both as time goes on, thus reducing the amount of rejection overall, and grounding them in their own movie even more... another huge similarity) --because of all these similarities and others, I imagine them finding each other to be kindred souls of some sort, at least on the level that they have all those things in common that I mentioned above ...

Which... if were being real, how many people live a life commited to being the best possible fucking person they can possibly be..............As we know its not many. --So, I think they would get along great... but thats my opinion based on observing them on video and listening to rogans podcast for ~250 hours (2.5 hour podcast average * the ~100 episodes ive heard/seen).

Ive been thinking about this combo for a while -- cool to see others agree.

Cheers

We've taken the gamble on doing very little "marketing" so to speak -- bank on "word of mouth" from high program quality as well as high value free content.  It's worked shockingly well but I think it's because we spend day and night to improve what we're bringing to the table for the people who like it (and probably make it even more annoying for the people who don't).

Tyler

Keep doing very little "marketing". If RSD is mass marketed the forums will get flooded, and it'll l be impossible to find the legitimate threads.

i don't think you CAN mass market this shit.

Fact is people instinctively laugh and deride this shit because it goes against all society's values. Fact is it takes YEARS to get good at this stuff. Fact is, the VAST majority of people who get into this shit, will fail.

How do you market ^^^ that shit? Not exactly "the LYNX effect" is it? (Axe to you Amerikuns)

And to be honest any friends who were desperately in need of this shit i did introduce this to - reacted with anger and derision.

Only a certain type of person finds this shit and sticks with it. I mean if New York Times best-sellers The Game and VH1 shows such as The Pick-up Artist couldn't bring this shit to the masses - nothing RSD is gunna do will cut it.

Actually a rave i was at on Friday, i was talking to this chick and her husband, and they asked me and my wing where we met. We pretty much broke it down for them "We met at a seminar... some American dude was showing videos of how to pull women in night clubs and he breaks each video down minute by minute to teach techniques on how it's done." (yes, MDMA brings out strange confessions lol) They had NO CLUE that this shit existed. For some weird reason, cos this community can be so insular, i assumed everyone knew. But it was like mind frying to them that such a weird thing actually exists - "wot??? a seminar??? with videos?? pulling women??? eh???"

That would be so cool. I'm sure if you would explain it to him from the point that this isn't just about pickup he would appreciate it allot. He allways talks about becoming the man you are, and it's basicly what what we all are doing, it happen's that all of us found eachother through the "pickup" world but its bigger than that.

girls are basiclly a side effect.
