I have already signed up for the Free tour event, but as I student I just cant fucking afford the $300!!!! (it IS cheap I guess, but right now $10 is a lot for me lol). I am sooo bummed out about this but what can I do? (taking money from my parents would have been an option, but at this point I have taken MORE than enough..)
Anyone who is not attending this and CAN I would feel VERY sorry for, this is THE BEST WAY TO IMPROVE.

PS: At events like these, do the students just go home after the nights out or do they have accomodation etc?
Thanks.

I will be attending Jeffy's hotseat in Montreal and you already mentioned you will be in attendance at the US events; my question is: Are you going to be back doing the event next year after jeff's tour is done?
I couldn't attend your event and would like to do it in the future even if you end up doing it locally in Los Angeles...

This is something I'm reserved to say, because I don't want you to interpret it in the wrong way, but I'd say take it into consideration...
When I was first learning I took a bootcamp that cost me fifteen hundred dollars that I didn't have, and I didn't eat in restaurants or go to movies for a few months after taking it. The money was too much for me but I was able to scramble around and find it because this area was so important to me.
Because I spent the money I used that as motivation to go out like a freakish madman and apply what I'd learned after, so in fact the expense wound up becoming something that helped propel me to improve. It was a "good" thing.
The Hot Seat is an exponentially better learning experience that what I gained from that bootcamp, even though I think it was a really good program that I'll never forget (one of the best experiences of my life). And it's five times less expensive than what I paid, so given I was broke at the time I don't have a lot of sympathy. :)
At the same time, that was the right decision for ME PERSONALLY at that time, because this was a major focus of my life and it was obvious I'd bite the bullet and apply what I learned after. I think that people in general, however, go through phases with this stuff, including a "contemplation phase" where they read and read but don't go out, because their brains are struggling to integrate the new reality. That being the case if you aren't going out non stop ALREADY I'd say it may be better not to attend.
Basically I'm saying it's worth it to "find" a way to come up with the small amount of money to attend (even though it's big to you, it's really small...) if you're going to APPLY what you learned for a good six months afterwards. But if you're "into" this stuff but not ready to go that hardcore, it may be better not to attend. (The real value in the event comes after when you APPLY what you've learned.)
Lastly I'd say that I specifically created this program with "broke" people in mind. Whereas 2K is a stretch for just about anybody -- even people who make 80K a year find it annoying to cough up 2K for a Bootcamp -- 300 bucks is about a similar stretch for people who are tight on cash. So if the 80K person can do a BC you can definitely do a Hot Seat -- and the program has a similar type of value to your understanding of the game, it's simply more inexpensive because it's cheaper for us to put on the event. Again it all just depends on where you're at.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah I COMPLETELY understand bro, I can already see this shit would not be good for me even IF I had the money. The fact that I cant go out every day and go HARDCORE is starting to PISS ME OFF and like you said, I need to apply what I learn and not just "soak up the information". I am past the stage of just listening and reading about game, its TIME FOR ACTION (hence my blog etc). I live with my parents and they are religious so going out past midnight is a no no (even though I can maybe pull it off once or twice a week, its not nearly enough). I also have the logistical issues of not being able to bring a girl home OR stay over at some other house.
Having said all this shit, dont worry IT WILL get handled. Once university starts again (in September/October) I will have an influx of money, stay at my own place AND get a job (the job bit I am working on at the moment).
NO EXCUSES.
MASSIVE ACTION.

Are there people attending these hotseats whos already very very advanced? Can a player whove already been with alot of girls and been doing this for a long time "learn something" from this, or is this more for people who are newbies or intermediete so they can get a glimpse of "whats possible" ?

I'm looking forward to it, going to book the free tour/hotseat and possibly a bootcamp as soon as my card comes through.
I was wondering, asides from actually going out 2+ times a week and approaching is there anything a complete newbie can do to maximise the benefit from these events? I'd also love to take notes, is that alright with you guys i know that you probably are super careful about letting stuff get out cause of the copyright infringement shebang.
Cheers.

I thought this would be cool because I'm sure there's people who are "on the fence" about attending -- maybe unclear about what the value is of the event, what problems in your life this has the potential to help solve, what improvements in your lifestyle you can realistically gain out of it, etc.
Please feel free to ask *anything* about it, even if you have objections to anything about it, as I've spent 18 months building this event and believe it's the best value for dollar education in this area that money can buy -- and that this is something EVERYONE can benefit tremendously from attending.
If you're considering signing up, let me know any questions you have. And if you're not signing up for any reason, let me know why as I may have insights as to why it's the right or wrong choice. It's possible that it's better you don't sign up, but it's also possible that you're missing out on a unique opportunity to cut your learning curve tremendously. I'll be honest about my opinion of your personal situation either way.
So let me know what's on your mind!
