from time to time, i see people asking for ways to make some money so i thought i'd throw this up here real quickly.   ive done it before, its so simple, and is a great way to make some quick cash.

a couple of things up front:
it does not involve your computer
it is not "passive" income
you will not get rich doing it.
only good in the summer time unless you live in some year round hot area
involves virtually no investment
easy to do, socialize as youre doing it
technically need a license to sell anything like food or beverage but find a good location where you can have high foot traffic but also operate under the radar and you wont be bothered.

1.  Go buy a cooler and a dolly  and a case of water (you can buy all 3 at a Costco.  Maybe you already own a cooler and a dolly)
2.  Find an event near where you live
3. sell bottled water for 1.00 a bottle

How much can you make?
A case (24 bottles, 16 oz) usually costs around 5 bucks.  Sell each bottle you make almost $20 bucks a case.  Stay outside in the sun for a couple of hours (4 hours) you can sell 5 cases for $100.

I walked the length of the Virginia Beach with a cooler strapped to my back this past Saturday.  It took me 2 hours.  I got stopped every other towel and made $80 bucks.  Wouldve made more but sold out.   Find a corner in the city or near a concert or sporting event, youll earn.

that is all.

I gotta do this next summer and put it on my resume.

Sounds pretty cool.

But could you get in trouble for not having permits and shit like that and end up getting fined more?
Doubt it.

There were 5 or so people doing it outside Yankee Stadium this week and I didn't see any police stop them.

I'm pretty certain they do it every game during the summer.

The thing I love about this is that a) it requires no mental extertion, and b) you can make the $100-$200/day right off the bat.

SEO or other IM involves a lot of planning and shit and it's boring as fuck. Moreover, you could make $0 the first 6 months and be like WTF is this shit son.

You can move to Cali, Arizona, Texas, or Florida do this shit year round for a few hours a day and pull in $70,000 ($200/day over 365 days).

Now, $70,000 won't knock your socks off, but it's the potential $50/hour doing second grade shit which has me caressing my dick as I type this.

Fuck it, I'll do this shit from 10-6 air day.

That's 8 hours.

We'll call it $40/hour. I'll have cases of water in my car in multiple coolers so I don't run out.

That's over $100,000 a year literally walking around.

You're like the short Mexican guy at the diner doling out waters.

But instead of making 20 Gs a year, you're dropping the easiest HUNDO you've ever seen.

Cool. The world is full of these opportunities. you just have to be creative and think outside the box.

I`m an SEO/IM guy and it`s great once you have income coming in that you don`t have to do much for, but that`s after a lot of hard work. If you are caught in a bind and need some quick cash, you won`t get it through IM, which requires some money and a lot of time up front.  If you need to bankroll that shit before you`re profiting, you`ve gotta hustle on something else.

It's not $40/hr. If your using the forumla OP used you'd have to sell 48 bottles/hr. And you'd have to do that consistantly over an 8 hour period. And to make 100k a year you'd have to do that 365 days a year, and somehow still keep that pace on days it rains etc. And you have to take into consideration transport time and restock time and costs for transport and parking, business licence.

The 40 an hour in op's post didn't take into account that was probably his best run ever, during a peak time, and didn't include the time to get out there and the time to restock after, or the costs of the water ($15), or the parking you have to pay at most major city beaches to be decently close to the action. So on OP's best day he was making $32.50 an hour excluding all those other time costs, which if factored in would drop it to $25/ hr. So if you were doing it over 8 hours and you factor everything in over an 8 hour day you might average $15/hour, and that's being very generous.

I made $600 in 2 hours of work today. Made 7k this month in my second month of work. Had zero experience coming in. My buddy here has been doing it a couple more months than me and he's average 8.5k a month. There's no ceiling for what you can make. I'm working with a guy who just had his 23rd birthday and he's making 400k a year cause he started when he was 17.

It's direct sales, it's easy. Actually if you're not a pussy PM me if you are in the Vancouver or Edmonton area and want to know more.
FUARRRRRRK, you're right, mate.

I could do fine with the transport times (buy a shitton of waters ahead of time and store them in my car), but it's impossible to account for the rainy days. That is correct.

But selling water is still a great gig all things considered.

Definitely something to strongly consider for next summer.

lol direct sales suck. just as any other get rich quick scheme. usually they make some $100 sale in an hour, then they work another 10 hours without selling shit and then they say they make $100 per hour. Sure, dude,  I made $1200 playing a 10$ entry poker tournament that lasted 6 hours, but it doesnt mean I am making 200$ per hour playing poker.

I'm with op in this one.
