lol. Dude I turn 42 in 2 weeks I started this around age 35 after a break-up with girl I was with for 7 years. Damn I wish I had started when I was 20!!!!!!
He was only 20 and found RSD , im 28 with only 2 lays and i just got this stuff, i would kill to have had this at 20.

What you aren't accounting for is the amount you learned during that time spent. Whether you realize it or not, you are building indiference to social pressure and gaining memories of what seems to work and not work in attracting girls. That information isn't going to coalesce into a clear framework and group of habits that you can use to get girls yet. Over time what you have to do gets clearer and positive habits become ingrained like in any other skill. 500 approaches is really not that much. I went through 1000 in a few months, in that time I've seen that your game improves drastically over time.

i'm an engineering major at USC, I see things in a logical/rational way. Time to me is important. if i were to approach 50 women, and get 5 phone numbers, in a 24 hour span. LEts assume all 5 phone numbers go nowhere(unresponsive, flaky, etc) . I can't take back the 24 hours i invested. I could've easily invested in that time learning another skill that will yield me higher results.

It is like working out, not noticing a difference, days, weeks, months go by, and then finally a year.
You don't notice it but, you've made leaps and massive gains.
Then, you notice old pics, and you are amazed at the transformation you've made.
You see yourself in the mirror, in the bathroom, changing, day in, and day out.
It goes unnoticed but, it is a level of progression, and it will catch up either in your favor or against you.
Its upon you to decide that.
