I do have a job. i wait tables and am a part time manager at a resturant. i dont smoke weed and more and my dad really has no other option because real estate is all he knows. i duno. im not like crying about this at night. im sure what ever happens wont be horrible. these are first world problems. the solution to your dilemmas in life will present themselves to you when and only when you need them. im just discouraged and frustrated this is happening to my family and theyre going to get fucked hard in the next couple years and probably never afford to retire.....i need to help.

Real estate is a dying business. And frankly, it isn't just because of the business cycle and over-supply. It's because any fucking retard can sell a house now with the internet.

Im a 21 year old musician who lives away from home (i just moved out a year ago). I have a litte brother and sister and my mom and my dad. My mom was a stay at home mom and now works a minimum wage job.
1.)because she dosent really have a good resume
2.) because places simply arent hiring
3.) because shes in her 50's so places that are hiring are looking for younger people.
My dad is 58 years old and is a real estate agent. Thats what he has done his whole life. But now days he cant make a sale to save his life. My family is flat broke and its highly stressful to everyone in the family. My dad has not adapted well to the internet and the new wave of communicating with potential buyers plus the fact that no one is buying houses. What he does have going for him is decades of expierence. I can tell hes overwelmed and extremely frustrated. It also dosent help that he likes to micro manage everything.
So im going to try and learn all about real estate and how to use the internet to network and connect him to clients Does any one have any advice.
I just dont know what to do. I want to help. I dont know where to start. We are getting desperate. Any advice would be deeply appretiated.
