I have to thank Tyler for this one. I been in a rut lately. I pulled a decent girl about a month ago but since then its been sub par nights and shit nights for me personally. What I did tonight was follow one of Tylers excerises of lowering my criteria for success by JUST approaching. I got caught in the trap of putting pressure on myself to perforn at insanely hight levels and to pull all the time.

I realized that this was not good, especially in a dynamic environment where its so chaotic and anything can happen. I changed my mindset into one of "just say something, show some intent, approach, compliment etc, whatever you feel is appropriate" I had mixed results tonight but I did experience a shift. As soon as I did my first approach, I felt good, not great but not in chode mode either.

What this did is then allowed me to do another approach, and another...eventually I you will get that good response. You open, girl laughs, smiles, touches you or whatever positive response she displays...then BOOM! you hit "state" but the thing that allowed you to hit that point was the fact that you felt good about JUST approaching.

So the lesson is FEEL GOOD, PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPROACH!. Who cares if it went well or not, you shouldn't care either because you are feeling good, right? I think of it this way, when you start the night, you are on the 1 yard line in your own end...now you're gonna all of a sudden wanna throw a hail mary touch-down pass?.

I know that impulse is there when you see that hottie you want and I'm not saying that it will never work but in a more practical sense, its better to lower your criteria to JUST APPROACH, get that first down then go from there, don't get too far a head of yourself. The point is to be in a good state, thats the reason we go out right? I know thats why chicks go out. They can dance for 3 hours and feel good and not even pay attention to any guys.

Now you might say, "well the reason I go out is to get laid" I can respect that but why do you want to get laid? because it puts you in a good state? well you can achieve that by not getting laid if you just reframe the way you view success.

The lays will come if you just be patient, lower your standards for success and live in the present. If you're doing this correctly, after the first approach, you should feel excitment and pride because you fulfilled the requirements and you just took a step forward towards glory.

I'm really starting to enjoy the journey again, hope you guys can do the same.
