Dr Malik is a well known Professor for Management Techniques in St Gallen, Switzerland. I read his book and was sheer amazed by his style of Leading.
Basically it comes down to some "core" leading axioms:
- Create specific goals/tasks
- Organising, leading, deciding
- Develop and support your team
The most important of all is HONESTY and TRUST. Think positive, concentrate on little but important things, be result-oriented and improve your skills rather then working on weak spots
Working on weak spots will only result in MEDIOCRITY and WHO wants to be MEDIOCRE? Me not :P
As me being a high rank member of a students' fraternity with lots of experience when it comes to leading people,
I can only emphasise on these points listed above.

We're doing a podcast on a topic pretty similar. Did first half last night and second half tonight. But I think leadership is an EXCELLENT topic to base a podcast on. We'll get on this one for sure. Podcasting is SO much easier than writing uggh.

do you have experience / tips / good books on Leadership?
I´m leading a team of 8 people, consisting of two subteams of four people in my students initiative.
We are handling the finances.
I feel like I could be a better leader, but I´m not sure where to start.
For example: what are the principles of leading a team?
