It's occured to me that due to society's portrayal of women in popular media, some women feel they're entitled to boss people around.  Including slapping people and pushing people.  Cause a guy's not supposed to hit them back right?

As far as receiving commands...

I've had this happen to me, and I've seen girls do this to a lot of other guys.  They will subtley "command" them around to do things that any normal person can do themselves.

It's like they're "frame controlling" people all the time, but they don't do it about big things.  Just little commands that seems trivial and embarrassing to confront them about.

For example (interchangable), you'll be eating some chips out of a bag and then one says from the couch.  "Give me a chip.  Or two."   You give them the bag.  They take a couple and say "Okay I got the two that I wanted."  Then they hand it back to you like you're their butler.

It's tricky because you don't wanna come across like an insecure, overreactive douche bag freaking out over little things.....buuuut at the same time you can clearly see this sort of "do what I tell you to" attitude coming out of them.  I know somebody knows what I'm talking about.

So do I just say "You know what, get your own fucking bag of chips/pick up the trash/pick up that pencil."  or do I just give them some chips/pencil/trash like a NORMAL person.  Either way it seems stupid.  It seems stupid that a man is even asking this question, but I clearly noticed it today and I was wondering what ya'll think about this kinda stuff.

Let me know.

Funnily enough, the clip you posted showcases the large "loud and proud" egos of the journalists.   Do these cougars look like they appreciate men and willingly accept male direction?  No way.  This is pretty much the path of the American Female.   Woman are simply responding to the compulsive little boy energy all around them.   If the men aren't going to be men...someone has to do it.

This classic was posted a while back.   It's pretty much the same shit in reverse.  The men "rise up" to "protect the honor" of their mother.   Highly chode also.

lol i didnt watch the video just wanted to post snooki getting punched.... too bad the indian guy hit her like a sissy, the american dude did it properly ;) .....however if another guy hit her it think that the hitter would be the part of the chode pack too.

if something goes wrong men are automatically guilty..... how many times you've seen a situation especially in american movies/sitcoms - a couple has a fight and the next thing is the guy sleeps on the couch or leaves the apt... wtf lol.... guess they know their target audience and or they are part of it

Sean Connery sees nothing wrong with it.

When Sean slapped Baba Wawa in the face at the end of the clip...was there actually some blood there?   I saw blood.  Hard slap.  She had it coming.

I'm kind of friends (an ex who happens to be in my social circle) with a girl who always slaps me when I make a cheeky comment towards her. Know what I do? I slap her back. She normally lays off me for the rest of the night.

" For example (interchangable), you'll be eating some chips out of a bag and then one says from the couch.  "Give me a chip.  Or two." "
What would do is tell her to say please and then hand her the chips (after she says "please", obviously). Not out of frame control or anything, just out of manners and respect.

I remember learning once in a sociology course that whole bossy, in-charge, more intelligent wife and dumb, chodely, subservient husband dynamic you see in a lot of sitcoms, movies, and TV shows which we take for granted as the standard way of portraying sex relations has a very specific origin in a TV show from the seventies or sixties (I forget what the show was).  I mean, think back to the fifties and earlier (television shows and film).  The roles portrayed by and large tended towards dominant husbands and obeying wives.  Then this show came along and switched the roles, but the joke is on women,  Because the intention of this show was to basically be all: lololololol the wife is smart but the husband is a dumb lololololo thats like the opposite of real life lolololololo herp derp

And I guess the trend just sort of caught on and it became so common that people assumed this to be the standard sex relation, despite the fact that it started as a joke.

It might have been the Flinstones, not sure.

Shit man....Plintstones.  Probably turned the corner there.   Maybe it was one giant female energy shit test in process that has led up to today.   After the war, women were thrown into a world where all the men wanted to do was get a wife and consume.    No community, character, mentoring, personal growth, real self-care....nothing to respect as male.   Kind of like a completely feminine deal top to bottom.

This for sure is going to spike up shit-testing as a societal process.   The women are alone.
