Im Into MMA, been doing it for a while now and Im pretty good at it, Im also working out at the gym and have been doing so for a couple of years, so Im well traned.

Im wondering if one could have a "fighting-style" to him? Like alot of UFC/MMA clothes, affliction shirts, throwdown-shirts etc? Would that be considered a specifik "style" for a person?

Because it would sure as hell fit my identity.

You can make whatever you wear your style. Just wear what you want man! It doesn't have to be labeled anything by anyone else -- if you like the clothes, by all means throw that shit on.

There are some decent shirts, but do you like the style of clothing or being labelled as a fighter?  A lot of posers wear that shit and it makes them look like huge fags..

Like the guy above you said. But hey man if you wanna wear it then go ahead. I did MMA a few years ago along with Judo. I wore that stuff before it got popular and once it became popular and everyone was wearing it, someone wore the same shirt I had, it just felt dumb to me. That and a lotta posers who don't do shit wear it to feel like a badass. Though I remember one dude wearing it but he was a fighter you could tell.

Check out Dan Henderson's Clinch Gear.  Some good stuff.

But yeah man, wear what you want and make it your own.  You don't need permission from anonymous doods on RSD to wear what the hell you want.

Yeah,if you want to wear them,go for it.I'll just say that for example Ronaldo doesn't go around with his Real madrid tshirt, does he?
Most of the fighter guys don't have much of a style, maybe cause they're too big or just don't give a fuck, but fighting clothes style with those Affliction Ts for example is very douchebag fashion,as stated above.
If you want more "masculine clothing",buy a slim fitting blazer and black leather jacket, buy some basic T shirts, straight leg jeans and good shoes and there you go :)

Evil Stifler says "stop wrestling men and as far as the clothes are concerned fighting shirts do two things for you 1. make you look like a weirdo that likes wrestling men and 2. a potential rapist who has aggression problems"

If you're wearing them because you like the style, then go for it.

If you're wearing them for the image of a fighter... well... at least around here, > 90% of people who wear that type of clothing are not actually fighters.  They're just wearing it because it's "cool."  It has a bit of a stigma as being dbag clothing.  That's not to say you won't get chicks.  Chicks love dbags.  But all us stifled chodes will think you're dbags :D

If you can wear them because they're part of who you are, then go for it.  I suspect it's a lot like the whole popped collar thing.  95% of people who pop their collars are dbags, but that only exists in America.  In Europe, a popped collar is just fine.  Popped collars originally came from cricket players trying to keep the sun off their neck.  It's not dbaggy when they do it.  It is dbaggy when tools in the clubs in USA do it.  They give off the dbaggy vibes.  But when a European or Indian comes here and pops his collar, it's not dbaggy because he doesn't give off the dbaggy vibes.

Make sense?  This stuff is hard to explain.

It seems chode and very try hard. Let me elaborate. Are you a professional or amateur mma guy? If I am this idiotic raging lunatic that wants to fight, do I look for the guy in the collard shirt or the guy in the tap out gear? I too enjoy the stuff but, I wear it to the gym or to workout and maybe support my favorite fighter. Wearing it out is asking for trouble in my opinion. Too many wanna be tough guys and Jersey Shore idiots these days.

I get the whole mma BJJ shit but, some of this shit is plain gay. UFC is a good example of that seeing half their champs are dry humping as oppose to fighting. Watching two men roll around and sweat over top of each other is fucking gay. Then again, you got guys like Shogun, Maia, Anderson, Nog bros who will rip of your limps then you got guys like Evans or GSP, Sherk, Manny G, who will dry hump you to death.
