I ordered the book but haven't got it yet so I don't really know what I'm talking about. But I've read around the internet and watched videos to learn the basics, such as the video below. Today for 5X5 I just did free weight bench, fw shoulder press, fw tricep, 25lbs fw squat type exercise, and then abs. I need to get the book to get the exact way to follow his method. The 5X5 is 5 seconds up and 5 seconds down and you do it 7 times and just that one set. After I do a set like that I feel soooo much blood or something flowing through my body it's really intense and awesome. But apparently in the book there is a 28 day challenge that people try, and it's only 2 times a week to the gym. So I can't decide yet, I'm willing and able to go the gym up to 7 days a week, so I'll see what I learn and how I can best use my time effectively. Fucken love the sauna though omg. 

I loooove whole milk yogurt, which I think is healthy I read in "150 healthiest foods" by jonny bowden. But I don't really know, I prob eat too much of it anyway. I can't eat cheese tho I'm allergic. 

I'm getting me some whey protein, which is really legit as far as I know if it's from grass fed/organic cows. It's an amazing glutathione enhancer as well. I'm gonna try out the 20grams of protein in the morning for fat loss.

Ok, first after the library I decided to go to some bookstores to do some evening approaches just wanted to. Did decent approach on 2 ladies. Then went to another store and opened cute girl who walked past me. This was a good approach and she was pretty cute, got her number. Not sure maybe I shoulda tried to continue hanging out with her she didn't seem to busy. This was also a full glory approach b/c my brain was really messed up after I experimented with an energy drink which ended up being a poor choice, but I raged through that which was a miracle. The only way I was able to do this was to focus on not trying/freedom from outcome/presence. Otherwise I would have been FUCKED. I love this shit, those ideas, they are soooo money I'm surprised that more people on RSDN don't talk about them more. At least they are what I need personally.

Went out later for night game. ESL is fucking charging cover now shit ass. My first approach was the best, a lady at the bar. Then a worse approach on girl on street. Then an ok one in a bar. Then a quick one on a waitress. Went to barcode, did a few quick approaches there it was loud. I realized that I was not in state, but before I would just kinda go home at this point, but now I'm working on instead just staying out and trying to keep hitting sets/approaches just to keep doing it and see if I get into state and if not it's cool at least I continued to try throughout the night. So then I went to U street, weird approach on 2 girls I just didn't feel right. Then street approach girl was brief. Then girl at last bar, she seemed to feel uncomfortable. Also at this last bar the bartender seemed pissed with me b/c I wouldn't order a drink, I asked for water and he said "we're not serving water anymore it's last call" and he wanted me to order a drink. Lol. I don't care about that bar anyway that much, but I try tip $1 every now and then so bartenders don't get pissed like that. First time I've been denied water lol. 

Even though an off night, it was still an adventure that had a beginning, middle, and end ya know what I'm saying? B/c I decided to just keep hittin it, it was a "night out" still.

IMO you NEED those nights: they are the references you need to make insightful distictions and get a clearer understanding of why things sometimes work and sometimes don't. So it's all good. Keep it up.

'the book' meaning 'starting strength' by mark rippetoe?  pretty good

what you're talking about isn't 5x5 -- 5x5 refers to '5 sets of 5 reps' and is more popular lately from stronglifts.com (but came from some old skool bodybuilders), 3x5 is more solid and is outta rippetoe

the workout is 

A day
3x5 squats
3x5 overhead press
1x5 deadlifts
[3 sets of max dips]

B day
3x5 squats
3x5 bench
5x3 power cleans (or just do 3x5 bent over barbell rows til you learn power cleans)
[3 sets of max chins/pullups]

he ignores warmups beyond 'use lighter weights' but i get injured when i listen to that shit -- i do a long mobility type warmup and now get thru the workout safe n sound

whatchu wanna get outta the gym?

Yeah I this is the first time I have basically realized the value of just keep going for the whole night. I learn a shit ton from those nights.

The book I mean is "the 4 hour body" by Tim Ferriss. Haven't heard of rippetoe, prolly check it out.

Lol I guess I just made up the 5X5 term in that way, but I meant that it is the 5 seconds up and 5 seconds down, if you're doing a bicep curl for example, this makes it much slower. 

I wanna get more lean and bigger muscles. Want to get down under 10% bf, at 11% right now. 

I need to incorporate squats, overhead press, deadlifts, and stuff like that.

Didn't get out until past midnight but whatever. Got to the bar it was crowded inside and people outside. I was like "shit I gotta do some approaches soon and not search around for too long". So after a few minutes I did an approach outside, man sometimes the first approaches are crazy. Did a few more outside, then I went in. Did lots of approaches inside, they were ok, but I was happy because I could tell that I was starting to feel better, more in state. Went to some other bars and did approaches there. I wasn't feeling that total stateness of where you just lock on to a girl and escalate, it was more of the meeting the girl and not escalating b/c I didn't feel like it yet. But that was interesting to notice though. Kept doing more approaches, and I got some really good feelings going of unwinding, those happy feelings.

This shit's like a miracle sometimes how it can bring about those moods. My favorite approach even though it was pretty short was a 2 set on sidewalk, I stopped them and asked them something and I was feeling good, and then the girl who was closer to me I swear I could see in her eye that she wanted to makeout, it was the look that I see when I go for the makeout with girls, so I grabbed her hand and tried to pull her in. This didn't quite work though she kinda giggled and they left. But I had fun. Did another approach of really hot fucking girl with amazing tits, I was almost laughing b/c she felt so far out of my league but it was good to approach a real hottie.

I realized tonight that I didn't keeping going to have a full "night out" I kinda just stopped somewhere in the middle or middle-to-end, but I didn't take it all the way to the end. This means that there were still lots of people out and some bars open. And I still had some approaches left in me, and fun to be had. So that's cool this is just something I'm gonna work on I think, to keep focusing on the process of hittin it and approaching girls until the "night out" is complete. This makes sense in my brain at least lol. B/c do you ever notice how you just go home early when you could have just stayed out and kept it simple just do more approaches? And deep down I know that I want to party as late as I can. A goal for me is to party all night until the sun comes up, not sure when I will do this, I've done it before but that was when I used to drink, it's like my favorite thing to do ever, the sleep is so amazing once you get to bed at like 8am or whatever, it's such an adventure.

This concept of keeping going till the end, its like a muscle that needs to be trained. 
If you focus on it and keep working at it, you will get more and more endurance.
you will be able to keep at it longer and longer. 
Eventually yeah, party all night no problem.
