Day #52
Back from night out. I went to a few bars downtown, but I didn't talk to too many people. At this point I often don't feel like talking to guys, cause girls are a lot more fun. Second bar was a hotel bar, I like hotel bars for some reason. It was a fairly big bar/lobby area with live music. And the lead singer was really cute, and god damn I was attracted to her. I wanted them to finish their music so I could hopefully go talk to her, but it seemed like they were playing for a while so I left. Rest of the bars were pretty boring, I talked to a bouncer for a minute or two. I also felt felt too scared to approach groups of girls, even 2 sets, wtf! So I think I need to try to practice talking to groups of girls, rather than only one girl at a time. Meh...pretty boring night.

I really didn't feel like going out tonight, but I went to a bar that had lots of people, and I checked out some hot chicks and used the bathroom. Then I left, didn't talk to anyone, but hey, it still counts for me.

I just went into an airport bar, and sat next to a girl, who was with another guy. I asked her how her pizza was and told her it looked good.

I am staying in a small town in NY and somehow I am staying right near the local college bar scene. So I went to check it out for a bit, I talked to a cute red head girl on the sidewalk briefly, I asked her what were the good bars. But it was good, cause she didn't respond like I was a creepy person, but was nice.
So, technically I approached two girls today, lol.
Sometimes I feel like I would be more successful or have more fun at the bar scene if I acted drunk, cause I don't ever drink, in fact I only drink water, note even soda or juice. Cause the drunk people have that careless energy that can be attractive in a social sense. I feel that if I was drunk, as a hypothetical thought experiment, then I would just go around having a sly smile on my face, looking for fun people, and just being really fun. I would just be out for a crazy adventure.
Maybe this is just part of mind knowing that I should loosen up, or maybe some part of my mind is starting to get loosened up and I am just foretelling what will change in me. Who knows, all I really know is that I need to keep at it.

This was the first day I didn't actually go out anywhere, b/c I was with family in a small town. But I still practiced some social skills, talking to my aunts. It works for me, I'll count it as a good day.

Yep, I'm starting a journal, because I'm super awesome. You're not cool until you start your own pickup journal on rsdn, then you know you've made it!
First post, I'm going to make some dinner and then decide where I should go tonight, hopefully it is somewhere with girls, or at least one girl, or at least people.
This may be the beginning of the most epic and inspiring journals known to man...or at least a few pages of self loathing.
