Exercise thes best medicine, you get an endorphin release afterward. The root of your depression is likely because you are not chasing your true dreams.

STFU and do a few things? Easy does it, tiger.

I appreciate all the effort you took to write all that down for me and I think it's funny that you apparantly think that I'm some couch potato or something. I'm in great shape and have a healthy lifestyle most of the time. I'm not monitoring my heart rate during excersise because I have to worry about not getting rocked in the face (kickboxing).

Let me start by saying I'm not the one who started this thread. I'm not depressed at all. Being healthy is cute and all, but there's no need to be anal about it. There's nothing wrong with a soda or going on a bender every now and then.

Shit, I can pretty much say that getting completely blitzkrieged a few times actually saved me. Being so far away from reality and myself made me realize things. I got used to get high on weed all the time and I can say that my mushroom trip was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. All that shit partly made me into what I am today, and I'm quite happy with that. The only thing that I'm working on is the whole girl thing, to be honest. Pretty much every other aspect of my life is perfectly handeled.

Everyone does shit in his own way and has his own life. Just cause you can afford to get out of bed an hour earlier, doesn't mean that everyone can. I get out of bed at 6.30 and get home again around 19.30. I'm an intern now and I have to study as well in the evening. There's no way that getting earlier out of bed shit is gonna fly.

If I can give some advice back: chill bro.

No joke.  STFU and do a few things.  You've going to have to make time.  Wake up an hour early if you have to.  6 simple things will make you feel a lot better.

1) Exercise.  Vigorous cario exercise.  Do the equivalent of sprints.  Where you lull a little bit and then you sprint your fucking ass off for the same amount of time.  The studies show it gets your hormones and everything working at the right level.  Better than 30 minutes at a 160 heart rate.
2) Meditation.  Download Holosync from TPB NOW.  Listen to it for 30 minutes a day with a quiet mind.  You are the observer behind your thoughts, if they come try to watch them like clouds.  Don't identify with them.
3) Fish Oil.  The ratio of fatty acids in your diet actually makes you depressed.  The science behind this is pretty solid.  But it will take about 6 months or so.
4) Tri-Methyl-Glycine.  It's a methyl donor.  There is a 50% chance you'll feel somewhat better depending on your body's specific biochemistry.  A lot of people respond VERY favorably.  Get some, give it a shot.
5) Drop soda completely.  Drink water.
6) Cut out the alcohol.  Negative cumulative effects over time.  BTW Tyler's state in the AskMen video is completely non-alcoholic.  http://www.rsdnation.com/tyler/blog/new-video-askmencom-asks-tyler-about...

This will moderaly turn you around.  BTW, you should be doing it even when you're feeling good.

I guess "soldier on through that shit and it'll get better eventually", as with everything in life that sucks.

frankly, some people are just too lazy to deserve good information

If you're willing to do a little esoteric stuff backed by science, seriously go here http://www.herbalcom.com/ and buy these things.  Buy a "00 gel cap" Cap-O-Matic capping device.

Bacopa, Ashwagandha, and Reishi - CENTURIES old, praised as holy gifts from the divine, complete safety profile, everyone feels better in a few months

Bacopa monnieri - After 12 weeks, you've got a prescription level anti-anxiety effect.

Bacopa’s traditional use as an anti-anxiety remedy in Ayurvedic medicine is supported by both animal and clinical research. Research using a rat model of clinical anxiety demonstrated a Bacopa extract of 25-percent bacoside A exerted anxiolytic activity comparable to Lorazepam, a common benzodiazapene anxiolytic drug. Importantly, the Bacopa extract did not induce amnesia, side effects associated with Lorazepam, but instead had a memory-enhancing effect.24 A one-month, limited clinical trial of 35 patients with diagnosed anxiety neurosis demonstrated that administration of Brahmi syrup (30 mL daily in two divided doses, equivalent to 12 g dry crude extract of Bacopa) resulted in a significant decrease in anxiety symptoms, level of anxiety, level of disability, and mental fatigue, and an increase in immediate memory span. Other changes noted were increased body weight, decreased respiration rate, and decreased systolic
blood pressure.25

Ashwagandha - Raises testosterone, which makes you feel much better, (disputed study, but it definitely has testoterone-like effects) and decreases cortisol, the stress hormone

One study done in India, and published in the International J. of Phytotherapy (2000 Dec:7 (6):463-9), was performed on rats over a period of 5 days. Ashwangandha was given to one group and an anti-depressant was given to another.
It said that “the results support the use of Ashwagandha as a mood stabilizer in clinical conditions of anxiety and depression.”

Reishi - Feel better in general.  More energy, etc.
Reishi has the unique ability among medicinal mushrooms to calm and support nerve function for people with chronic stress, anxiety, or insomnia (Hobbs C 1995).

Seriously consider the possibility that you are an undermethylator as well.  That page lists the science.  People with OCD have lower B9 (folic acid) levels that regular people.  The boards I read say that they skew significantly toward genetically predisposed undermethylators.  There are a lot of things you can do if you start taking nutrition seriously.

I have been through depression due to stress in my life and am on the road to recovery it does take years so don't expect a quick fix. What i did was i started with doing lots of Yoga & Meditation & The Lindon Method which help me and i rebuilt myself. I then got invovled with diffferent activites to get me going again, cooking, reading books and doing exercise like running and full body workout.

The doctor has given me medication to help calm me down which is helping a lot and is allowing me to do new things and more things.

Now i do the following which i love doing

-Studying RSD Material & David D Material
-Reading Self Help Books from the RSD Complete List
-Going out in the field 4 x a week to work on and improve my game
-Improv Classes (Lots Of Fun)

After Improv i am looking to do MMA and see how i get on with it i am going to start with 1 day a week.

Cognitive behaviorial therapy and meditation have been scientifically proven to treat depression.

Read "Feeling Good" by Dr. David Burns (CBT) and "Mindfulness in plain English" (Meditation).

I was depressed my whole life and found out I had lymes disease. Antibiotics didn't work because i had it for decades, so I went on the the salt protocol which basically cleans out ur whole system through reverse osmosis. It's like pressing the reset button.

I'm now happier and healthier than ever, and my game shot up to advanced/instructor level, i am a beast.

Depression is an indicator of extremely bad health, so to get ur mind right u gotta get ur health right. I would check out the salt c protocol it will cure depression pretty much garunteed because of the way it detoxes the body, it's not just for people Lyme it's for pretty much anything that could be related to bad health.
