Wondering how you guys deal with environments that can be hostile and overwhelming.

Like today I was in the city centre and it was fucking hot, I was with this girl and just felt really shit cause of the people and the heat. It kinda spoilt my day. In a lot of situations I can be very confident but many still defeat me.. I just read that dominance is less about dominating other people and more about dominating your environment and being non-reactive to all the bullshit people usually react to, and I can really relate to that. I want to know how you guys deal with this and stay 'cool' and don't let shit affect you. Trying to ignore it and act like it's not happening doesn't work for me... It feels like I'm pretending and I can feel my state being drained.

With draw broski. Nothing good comes from those environments. I know of clubs where thugs & wanna be thugs attend. I don't like hood rat women nor hostile men trying to prove their superiority. Its just a bad move.

So you just avoid those places? This can work but it does leave you with less options. I'd rather be able to own up anywhere if I need to.

I mean ambiguity has more experience then me. But personally I would try to go to the hostile environments so you are forced to step up.

I mean to me. Malls are hostile for gaming, so I go there for gaming. It is a challenge and therefore an opportunity to grow. Also I can't go to clubs yet.

Also, big thing you need to get used to not drawing state from the environment. I have not mastered this in any aspect, but it is what I am aiming for.

Or take baby steps. Start in friendly environment, then escalate to more hostile. That is what I would do in the ideal situation.

Am I on crack or is the OP"s hostile environment simply a crowded place that is "hot"??????
As far as being in a legitimately hostile environment.
Just be cool.
98% of the time, if you're bringing value. (ie a great vibe) & you seem confident.
People will not fuck with you and you will be able manuever freely without any hindrance or obstacles.

There are clubs that are the equvalent of "dive bars." they attract low lives and other lower forms of life. I am suggesting you put yourself in a "Posh" atmosphere or anything better then the woods. I assure you, the pay off is much better as well as the caliber of girls.

o ok gotcha, I thought you meant don't go to the challenging environments. Ya dive bars are no good. Posh atmospheres are more challenging, hotter girls, and therefore harder competition (although there are probably still low lives, just rich low lives, probably mafia, etc.but also just regular people, rich people, VIP people, party people). But ya I don't know much about clubs and bars bc I can't go to them. I was just saying don't be shy away from an environment because you fear it.

Not much to be gained from a dive bar full of drinking seamen, and ugly std ridden women. Major stereotyping, but I don't really know anything else. Later.

Pretty much. I mean, even atmosphere full of men in high numbers, dive bars with lower class gals, cheap drinks are calling for problems. You see lots of young people fighting in the parking lot & you know this place is a rat trap. Risk & reward is quite low.

All I meant by hostile is that it affected the way I was feeling in a way I didn't like.

If you get a climate-controlled, body-contoured shield made of invisible and indestructible space material... you never have to react to anything again. And then you can REALLY be alpha! ;)

I'd get ice cream and then go indoors somewhere. Don't judge yourself for being a mammal.

She probably felt the same way as you, and would appreciate you taking the initiative to go somewhere a bit more conductive to building intimacy than a scenario with awful weather and lots of agitated tourists.

Why didn't you leave? If you value the day2 more than your own comfort that's subtly supplicating to her.
