So I'm blitzing down the road.. ocean on my right..  some shitty apartment buildings on my left..

...and all of a sudden I see, about half a block away, a motorcycle cop step out into the road and flag me down to get me to pull over.  So he can give me a ticket.  So I can pay the hefty fine.  And get the point on my driving record.. and go through ALL the hassle of going to court blah blah.

Needless to say I was not at ALL interested in any of this so I kept going.

Apparently this was rather shocking for him.  He kind of paused.. and then ran back to his bike to pursue me.  I made a right turn, then made a left, then belted around and pulled into a parking lot.  Where I stopped and began chatting with random buddies on the phone as all of a sudden I had 10 minutes to kill.

The interesting thing (why I wrote this up), was my initial reaction to this situation.  A cop flags you down you're supposed to pull over.  But I didn't want to.  Not only that I was very relaxed about the situation (stayed present), and this allowed me to see through the situation.  I could ignore the guy and hightail it out of there, and even if he did catch me I'd simply say what the fuck are you talking about I didn't see you.

But more than likely I'd get clean away.  Sure there was risk, but I did not allow fear to have a role in this.  And social conditioning could kiss my fucking ass.

This was an interesting topic to me as I'd seen a few threads up recently about dealing with cops.  I've got TONS more cop stories but figured I'd come out with this one 'cuz it just happened and it's funny as shit.

Cheers

My Dad was a police officer in the military.

One time he took down a man that was holding a lady hostage with a knife, by himself, in a food court where he happened to be eating.

He also has a bronze star.

Why don't you try being a cop Manwhore?  Or are you too much of a sissy?

I rarely get tickets because I rarely get pulled over.  I am super-alert when I drive and I see the cops before they see me.  I feel the radar in my fillings, and the lasers in my retinal tissue, so I slow down before they have a chance to read my speed.

One thing that I love about social dynamics and actualization is that all the concepts can be applied universally.  If you don't want to put up with some random bullshit you've got to step the fuck up and move towards the result you want instead.  The cool part is that most people aren't operating on that level and they'll let you get away with it, as your story demonstrates.

This is a very intriguing, well written, and valuable post.  Thank you Manwhore.

This isn't a "my daddy was a cop and you're MEAN, mr manwhore!"  it's about the social conditioning

I'm an ex-military officer, I had several MPs (military police) under my orders at one point.

Eckhart Tolle, helping you infringe the law since 2010.

If he only knew what kind of uses we give to his "change in conciousness" movement.

Love it.

I like this.  Hell, I drove around with a cracked windshield and two years past inspection haha! Just to spite the law (my reasoning was a little different though I have an anarchist burning in my breast)  The times where I knew I could turn and burn, I did.

CHAOS - typically means a state lacking order or predictability. In ancient Greece, it first meant the initial state of the universe, and, by extension, space, darkness, or an abyss (the antithetical, or possibly complementary, concept was cosmos), but later uses of the term by philosophers varied over time. In modern English, the word is used in classical studies with the original meaning; in mathematics and science to refer to a very specific kind of unpredictability; and informally to mean a state of confusion. In philosophy, and in popular culture, the word can occur with all three meanings.

In pickup, it can be defined as "just get the fuck out of your head and bring her into YOUR reality, with no linear pattern or expected outcomes"

I don't think you're mean.  I think if you're pretending someone else is a sissy because you didn't have the guts to fess up for what you did.  Then you call cops sissies.

Yes Manwhore EVERYONE in the world is a sissy compared to you, especially guys that carry guns around all day long.
