Some of the instructors went pretty much right on to natural style whereas others seemed to have taken long detours. I remember jeffy saying that just because they had to go through the routines stuff, it doesn't mean that new people have to. You can pickup right at the natural mindsets and shorten your "learning curve" a lot.

The thing is, what you learn with RSD is a PREREQUISITE to being able to use that other shit.

If you know much of anything about martial arts, its like...before you learn "advanced martial arts techniques" you do need to have some of the basics down and some degree of physical fitness.  RSD = the basics + physical fitness of pickup (and this is 95% of the game, you figure out your own tactics and techniques anyway).

MM is just like trying to learn how to do some advanced acrobatics shit but the guy can't even do pushups yet.  IMO.  :p

Good post :).  I would go a step further and say that if you look at martial arts, say...a "form" or "kata" or whatever the fuck they call the pretty kung-fu esque routines these guys do to earn their black belts.  Do you think that all these moves would work in a real fight...FUCK NO!!!!!  Now look at MMA, those guys are not doing pretty shit, but they are doing what WORKS and is NECESSARY to kick the living shit out of the other guy.  That is like M M comparred to RSD.  RSD trims the fat and gets to what WORKS without all the theories, which, some M M theories are absolutely true, but IMO, most are unnecessary ar do not have practical application.

CHAOS

CHAOS - typically means a state lacking order or predictability. In ancient Greece, it first meant the initial state of the universe, and, by extension, space, darkness, or an abyss (the antithetical, or possibly complementary, concept was cosmos), but later uses of the term by philosophers varied over time. In modern English, the word is used in classical studies with the original meaning; in mathematics and science to refer to a very specific kind of unpredictability; and informally to mean a state of confusion. In philosophy, and in popular culture, the word can occur with all three meanings.

In pickup, it can be defined as "just get the fuck out of your head and bring her into YOUR reality, with no linear pattern or expected outcomes"

The founders of RSD learned from the founder of MM personally and have some "history" there.  It's all chronicled in a very biased book written by someone loyal to the MM camp.  I won't mention the name, but you've probably read it, or at least heard of it.

Basically, RSD stuff looks at the underlying princples that make MM, as well as other schools of seduction (and even "non-schools" like why guys who've never studied seduction are "naturals" with women), then boils it down to a way that's applicable to everyone.  Guys got laid before MM was on the scene and still get laid in droves without it.

There's a lot I learned from MM, but there's also a lot I don't like about MM.

It's overly complicated.

It teaches you to be a shallow fake.

It teaches you to view other people as "unreal" pawns in a game.

It ritualizes the concepts of PU to the point of making it (and you) creepy and weird.

A lot of the "rules" and teachings like "The 80/20 Rule," "Fool's Mate" and "The Seven Hour Rule" are B.S. with no basis in reality.

It's overly obssessed with external validation that turns you into a social vampire and button pusher.

Plus a lot of people just flat out hate M himself.  I've never met him, but he's a weird dude and comes across as a bit of a shallow sociopathic douchebag who's obsesed with external validation and manipulation in most of his writings and materials.  Who wants to be like that?

/\/\ystery Method was good back in the day, it got the Game to where it's at today, but it's concepts are based off of the false assumption that the girls always have higher value than the guys, so you have to drop thier's and raise yours. Welcome to 2010. It's all about becoming a Natural now.

You'll become a machine when you follow MM to much. RSD is much more improvising, just having fun and going with the flow. MM is more like you say A, she replies then you say B and the C etc.

dave lister: "no"
arnold rimmer: "youre supposed to say yes..."....and i then I say "well it wriggles along the ground like this...
All that Arnold Judas Rimmer has managed to pick up using MM in over 1000 years is 'inflatable ingrid' and a female version of himself in a parallel universe!
