I think the most important thing is that you give her a reason why you want to meet up with her. what do you like about her, other than the fact you want to get her into bed? 'hey, it was fun meeting you, let's hang out some time' 'we both like jazz, let's go to this jazzcafe' 'hey, you're a really cool girl, I want to see you again some time.'
if you're not giving her a reason, it's 'guy trying to get laid', if you do it's 'guy inviting a girl that lives up to his standards to go on a date with him'
maybe it's also due to the fact that they're chasing you, maybe you're giving off this vibe of standoffishness and disinterest, then if you suddenly ask them out, they realize that it was all fake. you suddenly stop being a challenge.

Nice advice - Velouria - I can defintiely see some of what you're saying applying here -
This chick just told me we're doing the same degree and going for the same career - quite possibly the reason she accepted my request - I'll use that to my advantage now when setting the meet up for sure.
It could be the whole chasing thing to a degree also - so next time I'll apply the 'qualification' stuff and see what happens - I think that has something to do with it now for sure ;)

I’ve gotten a few numbers lately and had these girls chasing me through texts - contacting me first etc – But fuck me do I always seem to fuck it up – Couldn’t get a day 2 with these girls to save my life at the moment – what the fuck!
