Yeah, there is some confusion.

When I say tonality, I mean the physical characteristics of your voice. There is no practical way to change that. You can’t make your voice sound deeper, at least for any prolonged period of time.

When some people refer to tonality, they refer to emotion your voice conveys—i.e., you have a sarcastic tone. Maybe a better word for this is delivery but whatever. Obviously, you can change this with relative ease.

99% of guys have voices who are fine. The problem is that their delivery sucks: no facial expression, no inflection--a just monotone wall of babble.

A good comparison is Tyler vs David D.  Tyler has a voice with overall higher pitch. But he still uses varied pitch, phrasing, facial expressions, and gestures to accentuate his words. Meanwhile, David D  has a much lower voice yet he still sounds like a boring community guy---Hey...girls....are...you...having...fun...tonight? You..and...I...are..not...going...to...get...along.

 It's daylight and dark.

Hmm I don't know. Sometimes I get this very deep and strong resonating voice and it feels powerfull and masculine as fuck and I don't have to force anything. But usually my voice sucks and it feels like something in my throat is blocking it. I've always been a very loud talker tough. I can get that resonating voice for a few seconds by humming but It goes away pretty quick.
Same here.  What I want to know is how this is fluctating, or how we can affect this.

Higher testosterone they say is what lowers it.  They say that in the morning you have a lower voice because your vocal cords are well rested.  Maybe it's that you have a higher testosterone level (we all do in the morning, usually comes with a rock solid hard on)

Dehydration through the use of alcohol or caffeine seems to be a sure ways to get off this voice also.  I've also tried Halls Refresh "advance moisture action" candy but that seems to help only a fraction.

Dairy prodcuts they say is also bad (as far as sounding better).

I'm confused.. Is the author just talking about your tone? Or is he saying you can't train your mind to talk louder.. Surely you can?

I have this problem where most of the time when im talking to someone they say "What?" maybe twice before they actually hear me. I`ve always been passive in the presence of others. Is there a way to train yourself to project your voice better?
