The "outside the room" element is very interesting.

It's akin to Tolle's "silent watcher" and some old school NLP, in which you were suppose to imagine yourself sitting in an empty movie theater, watching the present moment (and yourself) unfold on the screen.

"Sweet ass, babe" is some cheesy shit from a construction worker.

I haven't finished the book and I'm far from a pro at pick-up, but it seems that all signs are pointing towards really soaking in the girl's presence, beyond form (her body specifically) itself.

BonoboTimes: Your right, I don't. However, I've been fucking models since I was 17. I've dealt with being called ugly, stupid, gay, creep, asshole, and a bunch of other shit. Been told to go away, don't talk to me, go fuck yourself, and I'm not interested by over three thousand women and groups of people. I can handle rejection better than anyone on this lot if not city. Not only that, I never leave. I will follow the customer across the fucking street if I have to. I simply do not give a fuck. I close.

Eckhart Tolle: "Adam and Eve saw that they were naked, and they became afraid."

Indeed the hardest part to make it practical.
Yeah, it is tough.

It's the type of thing where we just have to chip away at it.

Presence is so damn elusive; what makes it elusive is our knack to conceptualize it.

That's my new thing right now -- not identifying with being present; it's our default state (alongside happiness/joy/core confidence), anyway.

Do you realize the being outside the box implies being fulfilled in life? That's what makes it impractical.

That's why the concept of presence comes along to justify it, yet without being necessarily true.

In this situation presence becomes canned material.
I don't think that's what it means.

It's the whole silent watcher/no resistance a la Tolle.

@Hendrix: I recommend Genpo Roshi's "Big Mind Process." It's disgustingly brilliant.

@ epishred et al: You step outside the room by fully immersing yourself in the room.

You can do it with emotions right now. Feel a negative emotion that you currently think is *happening to you* and go into it with your consciousness. BE IT. Follow it as it moves around. After a short time you will notice the stranglehold has been broken. You have become the master of it. You'll know you're simultaneously inside and outside the room.

In order to make this permanent you have to integrate *everything*.

Get the audiobook. Listen to it right before bed. this will set your REM filter to the proper frequency.
Read the book right when you wake up, then exactly half of one chapter every 2 hours. That way your frequency will remain on the right wavelength.
If you follow these directions exactly you will have mad pus yo

SHiiit, that's good advice. Fuck, I can't believe I didn't think of that. Yeah, before sleep, after bed, and regular intervals. Bam!

ok, i'm gonna tell you guys my current understanding of the outside/inside the room deal and u tell me if i'm right or not: basically it's my understanding that we have certain drives and intentions (masculinity) that we are naturally born with, but our negative thoughts and doubts (ego) block us from fully expressing them.  so in practice, you suspend your negative thoughts (being outside the room) and focus on your positives (being inside the room). is that right?

Been trying to piece all this information together lately it feels like im understanding it slightly and slowly. From what I understand right now its pretty much about being positive and sharing that with girls without wanting anything in return, feeling their feminine energy and letting yourself get turned on without repressing your desires and intentions, and when a negative though comes up ignore it and be in the moment. And this whole loving her to god thing is just that giving of value and not expecting anything in return and totally being comfortable with showing your desires to them ie. giving her a look with deep sexual intent.

I think these posts might make more sense after I read the book though so can someone pm it to me or send it to my email tonyny94@aim.com
Thanks and hurry :P I really want to understand this click everyone else is having.
