I make smoothies everyday, and  by posting what I do I may get new incites and help a few people along the way.

My smoothie making started when I bought one from 'Surf City Squeeze'.
I realized how easily a smoothie could be made and how much money I could save by making my own at home.
Thankfully, I did not have to buy a blender, as my sister already had one.

Initially I went into meijer without a clue as to what to buy....so I bought everything and anything.

I experimented with various fruit/veggie combinations until I found an efficient process that could fit into my daily routine. I settled on buying frozen fruit. My daily smoothie consists of the following ingredients:

1. Mixed bag of Dole Frozen fruite (strawberries, pinapple, mango...etc.)
2. Mixed bag of berries (rasberries, blackberries, blueberries).
3. Alfalfa Sprouts
4. Spinach
5. V-8 splash base

Mix these together in varying portions to keep the smoothie tasting new each time. I can make a smoothie in ten minutes with these ingredients. Buying frozen fruit is cheap, and it last long. I get a very balanced drink that covers my daily vitamin needs. It tastes amazing!

Try this and take your health in the right direction!

Nice...

I'm into weightlifting, and currently bulking up (3500-4000 cals/day) so mine looks like:

18 ounces of 2% milk
2 big scoops of ice cream (vanilla for me)
Teaspoon of malt powder
Banana
30g scoop of Whey Protein

Damn, wish I could afford that.  If you're on a budget, look into freeze dried fruit powder.

depends entirely on his body type and when he takes it

toping up glutamine levels after a workout with some 'sweet' food is pretty common practice as far as bodybuilding goes

Here is what I'm messing with now. Keep in mind I have trouble keeping weight on because of the cardio I get for my sport:

3 scoops of mixed berry brown rice protein
1 banana
1/2 bag of organic frozen rasberries, blackberries, strawberries
1/2 cup cherry juice
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup soy milk
1 cup soy rasberry yogurt
2 ice cubes
1 scoop perfect food
1 scoop of BCAA's

This is my post workout drink/dinner. I feel myself turning into the incredible hulk after I drink this shit. Also tastes like a rasberry sweet tart. I'm a vegan which is why I avoid the dairy and use soy.
