I like training Muay Thai and martial arts in general, combined with weightlifting. Recently I've found out I like to sing karaoke! And the other people like me doing soo, although I sing horribly :) Now I'm looking for some acting club in my town, it's hard to find for now but I'll keep looking. After few years when I go to LA I intent to put a lot of time for surfing :)

If you were to judge me based on the time spent in my day, language learning would be the biggest activity. About two hours each for Korean and Japanese (Korean is the priority) an hour for French and most days I just spend 20 minutes on Esperanto.

Officially though, my "career" is philosophy. So I wouldn't call it my hobby--it's my major right now although on most days I don't spend as much time on it as the brute force I have to put into learning languages.

WHy are you learning esperanto?

Do what you love, but also look to improve at it and improve yourself through it.  Even if it is video games that you love, get better at those and use them as a means to practice your peace of mind, calmness, and unreactiveness.

Here is what I love to do:
- Kick ass at math and engineering (Im an electrical Engineering student)
- Work out
- Video games
- Bike ( I bike to work and back 5 miles each way up and down hills; and I push it )
- Guitar
- Piano
- Singing -->  And this one is HUGE.  I'm not sure why no one else has mentioned much about playing instruments or singing.  Music requires you to be totally in the moment and it lets you release any tension you may have and to explore other emotions.  Performing for others forces you to face and resolve any nervousness.  For me learning to control my voice and bring out my true voice has been a self realizing experience.  If you find a good pop/rock vocal teacher they can help you bring out your true voice and be proud of it.  My teacher has taught me how to relax every muscle in my face, neck, and shoulders, and even other parts of my body because this relaxation is required for resonating when singing.  This is what gives you volume and allows you to hit high notes and make them sound powerful.  Learning how to do this has helped me in all parts of my life and being able to fill a room with my voice is awesome.  I recommend singing or any instrument if you are in to music.
