Kimball. Nice post.

Relates to me because I have always felt a silly need to do things perfectly.

I am learning to see perfection in chaos and life is looking better.

You can travel life in a straight line...going slow and boring as fuck. Or travel it like a rollercoaster with your hands in the air and that feeling in your chest, letting shit fall where it may.

Thanks

Cool stuff. I like that post.

"The thought arises that if we can’t do something flawlessly, we should not even try at all.

Fuck that."
--> yep, fuck that. It hides the fact that every succesful guy had to work his ass off. It hides the fact that only 1 can be the best, but millions can be awesome. It hides the fact that learning is a process, and that to change you have to learn.

"Whatever happens, things always work out in the end."
--> Key. The world is not against you, you're not a victim, you're a man in his world.

"They’ll up and go on a weekend trip to the beach on a whim, without
giving a seconds thought to where they may sleep or how they’ll get
home. They do this because they have utmost trust in their facilities
to figure things out, even if what eventuates may not be ‘optimal.’"
--> Do you think you just have to do it in order to implement that belief?

"Like Alex has said, make harmony with the fact that whatever may occur,
you will always wake up in some form of bed, albeit not your own, a
garden bed, a police bed or a hospital bed."
--> If there is no fear of what will happen, there is confidence.

"Now, this isn’t carte blanche to be irresponsible – though, that can be
fun – or to put your life in danger in the name of glory. No, it’s
about understanding that you, as a motherfucking man, have all that is
ever necessary to stride over any sort of obstacle."
--> And no 100% belief or or core confidence can arise as long as you you think that something in you is missing.

Inspiring post. Thx.

^epic post. i also palyed mario 64, love that game =). too mahy people give themseleves reasons why they shouldnt do something. give yourself reasons why you should. When you see a hot girl say to yourself. "im gonna hit it off/ its a chance to meet some new people/its gonna be fun/exicting" give yourself reasons to do the thing you wanna do all the time. Its all about developing a psoitive mindset.

p.s. don't take this too much, as the poster said you also gotta let go, accept your old thougt and slowly bring in the new positive ones. try to keep your mind relatively free of thought, good or bad
