A little background - I have been a member of RSD for over a year.  I have been working as hard as i can to increase my profeciency socially, and I'm trying new things every day.  I have made what i consider amazing progress, and I am truly the master of my destiny nowadays.  Anyways I'm having a huge amount of trouble figuring out what to do with the next years of my life  I am only 2 MONTHS away from graduation.
I only have about 1.5k to work with so I could buy a car, go to a community college and go that path.  I could go right to a state school even though I really don't know what i want to do with my life.  Or my final choice would be to save for a year or however long i would need to save so that I could go backpacking thru europe for 5-6 months.  ANY Advice or tips from personal experience would be excellent because I really have no idea how to spend my upcoming years.

Hey man,

I was in the same position as you last year. Senior year in high school, with no idea what I wanted to do. So I right after graduating I packed all my shit and moved to L.A. Best decision ever.
Things have been awesome this year. I've met a lot of cool people, grown and matured a lot, and have a really solid idea of what I want to do with my future. Next year I'll be moving to NYC to go to college, and I couldn't be happier with how my entire situation  played out.

There's really nothing wrong with taking some time off to figure stuff out. If that's what you want to do, go ahead and do it. Just my 2cents.

Did you have any money when you up and moved, or did you just kinda find work and make it happen?

Yeah I had about $5-6k (goes fucking quick). I moved out in a pretty stupid way though. I didn't have a job or a place to stay lined up. Basically I got off the plane homeless and took it from there.

If you do something like that, definitley make sure you've worked out a job/home/expenses etc. etc...

 YOU GO TO COLLEGE

There is no place easier to get laid then college town USA.. You'll be surrounded by tens of thousands of hot girls willing to drop their panties at the first taste of alcohol. Your social skills will improve immensely...

My god man..freshman year of college is the greatest year in everyone's life.

I agree with Jinxed, this isnt even a question.

So you will graduate with some student loans, who doesnt?

Go to your state school. Nobody your age knows what they want to do with their life, and you shouldnt be expected to. Go to school for personal growth, for professional growth, for social growth, for physical growth, for ALL kinds of development.

With resources like RSD your sex life in college will be ridiculous, provided you put in the work. You will meet people that will be your friends for life. Take intro level courses in all fields and pursue what peaks your interest. GO TO COLLEGE.

Bro... do  what YOU want. Have goals. Have dreams. Follow through. I know a lot of experienced professionals discuss or suggest the benefits of taking a year off after high school before college. If you do decide to do that, make sure you spend that year at least a little productively, in whatever you choose to do. Personally I would love to go somewhere far off by myself, like Cambodia (Angkor Wat has fascinated me since I was young), explore meditative practices and see the world through the eyes of those that have dedicated themselves to that art. I myself am currently enrolled in college and am transferring to one of the top schools in the country. I sort of squirmed at all the responses here that were along the lines of "you must go to college" or "go to college, or be poor". In my eyes we are born dead, and life is to be achieved. Do what you want, and live by your values.

i wish i had gone to an out of state school and lived in the dorms. especially co ed dorms. college girls go to college looking to get laid. not all of them, but plenty of them. take out student loans and get a job.you should very easily be able to manage 12 units, 20 hours a week of work, and lots of partying. plus all the girls are right there on campus so you dont need to "go out gaming". make sure you have alcohol in your room at all times and be a good host. be social and girls will come a calling. thats what id do had i to do it all again.
