THE FORUMS
Why is going to a gym out of the question?
There really is no replacement for a gym, unless you can afford to buy the neccesary equipment for a home gym.

My favourite muscle-building exercise in the house is 'burpees' (look up the prisoner workout)
You can also do press-ups, squats, lunges, crunches and sit-ups by the hundreds.
You can also do chin-ups on the door frame which is a great muscle building exercise.
You can also look into buying some dumbbells, swiss ball and kettlebell(s)
If you eat well, there's no reason why you can't achieve similar results to what you would in a gym.

Mos to f those exercises are great, and you're right , they probably will help him gain some lean mass. But, there is only so much you can do with bodyweight exercises (excluding pull ups) Once you get to the point where you're busting out a score of (insert exercise) no problem, you're really only working your endurance. An intense workout with heavy weights is probably the best way to shock your body into muscle growth. While BW exercies are useful and have their place, you wil eventually reach a threshold with them

Combustion, there is no close enough gym for me to fit it in my schedule. Also I'm NOT looking for body builder type of results, I'm skinny and wanna get to normal, whatever that means.
Mick, how many minutes a day, I wanna avoid fatigue? Should I exercise earlier or later in the day, or it doesn't matter?
FUK I really do hate when people say things like that. Mick, how many minutes a day, I wanna avoid fatigue? Should I exercise earlier or later in the day, or it doesn't matter?
Jesus christ! Dude the more you dedicate to training like a bodybuilder the faster you'll get a body you want. It won't bloody make you ripped after a week of working out like them. Simply makes you get the result faster

Don't worry about putting a time limit on yourself. I'd say just set an hour aside each day and work out then. If you're working out 30-45minutes a day, then that's a good start. You'll learn what works best for you the further you go in. Just remember to listen to your body.
I find actually, it doesn't matter if you work out earlier or later, as long as you work out and you're doing something is the main thing. Whenever's comfortable for you

Going to the gym is not an option now for me logistically. So I'm thinking about exercising at home, like pushups... maybe getting weights, eg dumbells...
I eat healthy, lots of vegetables and small amounts of processed carbs. I've almost droped the booze completely.
Any advice on what my daily workout regimen should look like? I want stronger arms and torso.
