Ok back on track...Check out...."The assassination of Jessie James".....This movie is fucken awesome!!

The looks that Brad Pitt gives the other guys in this movie is insane. Check it out. Awesome story too!
I just saw the first half of the film two nights ago.

Brad Pitt is quality as always, but  aye, Casey Affleck puts together a terrific performance.

Gonna cue up mah DVR later, and finish it off.

BonoboTimes: Your right, I don't. However, I've been fucking models since I was 17. I've dealt with being called ugly, stupid, gay, creep, asshole, and a bunch of other shit. Been told to go away, don't talk to me, go fuck yourself, and I'm not interested by over three thousand women and groups of people. I can handle rejection better than anyone on this lot if not city. Not only that, I never leave. I will follow the customer across the fucking street if I have to. I simply do not give a fuck. I close.

Thanks for the recommendations, just saw Fight Club, now on to Scarface.

I feel better already, it's great seeing the incarnation of your visions. I understand now why Tyler calls himself Tyler Durden, the ultimate alpha.

no question... best alpha male example I have seen in a movie is Arnold Schwarzenegger's Docu-drama "Pumping Iron."  Physique aside, his loving personality, loving and phsyically dominant body language, quick witted quick frame control, and playful head games imposed on his friends and competitors is what positive dominance is all about IMO.  Arnold is nothing but love with his warm personality yet at the same time dominates everyone and hes so fucking charming they still love him for it and are left smiling.

Hmm.. The way I percieve an alpha male is like this:

The alpha male enjoys life, and lives most of his life outside his head, meaning that he rarely retreats into his own head for advice, he just does what he wants and goes with the flow. I can't help but feel that this is coming from Situational Confidence, meaning that he knows that if there will be any hassle, his friends have his back and he knows how to handle himself in a fight. Meaning that he aren't really truly afraid(of course this depends on how much training he has etc etc).

Take the last posted example, Daniel Craig from James Bond. He surely has been going through years of training to ble able to handle every situation, I am sure that's why he is never afraid or in his head when out on a mission. And attractiveness? Girls love danger, and he exerts true alpha status around other people as well.

The most important detail is that it is easy to see that they don't live life like other people, they generally do not care. They've accepted the fact that they are going to die sometime and I guess they are just trying to get the most of life while they can. At least that's how I feel.
In the end, I feel it is more or less coming down to the one hundret percent belief that YOU always have the strongest right hand punch, or the better answer, or the hottest body in the club. Knowing that you won't ever fear for your life.

About 10.000 years ago(perhaps even longer ago) we were all living in tribe. The tribe was being commanded by the strongest one of us, the leader. I can image he was the strongest one physically. If you were to oppose him he would hit you with his large club and you'd be dead in one stroke. Therefore, our of fear everyone else degraded themselves to Beta-Males, putting the strongest man up as the Alpha male. Now if there were to be born a person stronger than the alpha male, I would think it would be inevitable that he would challenge the current alpha male in battle, and if he won he would take on the role as the stronger and the provider for the tribe. The leader.

In a wolfpack, the alpha male has sex with all the females in the pack, while most of the other betas are getting extinct because they are not getting their genes passed on. The wolves are allowing their alpha male to eat first.
The chimpanzees bow ritualised to their superior, and are allowing their leader, the alpha monkey to walk first in a procession.

But, due to the evolving of mankind, the roles the alpha has changed. I bet that is wasn't even an alpha male who first found out to start a fire. My guess is that is was a Beta Male. And we evolved. Like say, suddenly someone found out that it was more effective to kill someone with a spear than a club. Let's say a Beta Male used a spear on an alpha male. And by killing his leader he became the new leader, the new alpha male. He had the spear, he was superior. If someone came up with a club, he would just stick 'em with a spear.

Anyways, so the evolution continued and the alpha male shifted from being the most alpha physically, to being the one with the best tools and resources available. An example I can think of was about the 1700s I think, when obese rich men where the most sought after, seeing as they could eat all they wanted because they were rich, and this gave females a sense of stability seeing as these men could care for their offspring. These rich obese men had men working under them, eager to rip the opposition apart. These men were the 1700s alpha males and their women was creating obese offspring. Many of them had like 3-4 wives also!

Alpha Male is a term that has changed from being the most physically strong to the one who is most resourceful. And when I see the development of the world today, I think it is headed back to being most physically attractive now. I mean, we get commercials showing us men with ripped abs and large packs of muscles telling us how we should look and we've got movies showing us how we should act.
In our modern day and age, we never have to "fear" for our live. We have laws which are to an extent stopping us from slamming a club into someones face, and them from slamming them into ours.

To be a bit pessimistic, I feel like this truly is the death of society, because this is a lowpoint in my opinion. We get all these commercials, and for individuals who don't know about attraction and what attracts a female will instantly attach his lack of success with women to his mediocre looks, thus creating an person nearly incapable of living outside his head, he will be analyzing everything from inside his head. This also meaning that he will likely score less with women, and perhaps not even getting to pass on his genes.

If this continues for about 100-200 years, there will only be half as many generally "attractive" dudes as there were. Only we have the ability to change this, by plowing through. Because guess what, looks don't matter! But everyone else thinks it does, even girls. But it doesn't. Dominance matters, and living outside your head in an unstifled manner.. Having a strong masculine polarity. I would think that someone coming from a "looks matter" frame is somewhat doomed to make less progress than someone coming from a "looks don't matter"-frame.

Here are some great examples mentioned a lot in the community: Tyler Durden, Achiles, Thomas Crown, James Bond as Pierce Brosnan, Roger Dodger.
Another two that I think are as good but havent seen anybody mentioning them:

Ben Wade from 3:10 to Yuma: lives completely in his own reality with his own values, doesnt gives a shit about the disapproval from others, doesnt care at all if people dont like him, slow movements (except when shooting where his is fucking fast!!!!!), completely comfortable and confident in even dangerous situations, very charismatic, interesting, when he likes a girl he just goes for her, maybe the best in what he does (fighting), by talking in a friendly dominant way and not reacting he doesnt acknowledge the power of others and takes it away, a leader, non reactive BL and if you mess with him he might as well fuck you up or just let it go as if you havent touched him at all.

Captain Spears (much more alpha than winters) from Band of Brothers: slow comfortable movements, completely comfortable even while in danger, charismatic, non reactive, lives so deep in his own reality that he has even left behind the fear of death, doesnt talk more than what is necessary, charismatic when he wants to, controls the image everybody has of him, very confident always, a leader. Winters might outrank him but he out alphas him.

Hey just curious, how is Forrest Gump an alpha?

Eckhart Tolle talks about Forrest Gump as a man who lives in the present. It's easy for Forrest Gump though; he doesn't have the mental capacity to get stuck in his head like us poor non-retarded.

About Spears the friend of a friend had seen him doing that. Just like an urban legend but who knows, maybe. And Gump, you are totally right guys! Its one of my favourite movies and I just didnt saw that at all. Just like Ozzies smart people article, he is a natural at that.  Xuma says that we are all born alphas and naturals and society kills that. I want to be a caveman like Gump!!!  The question that comes to my mind is, being a complete alpha is just about inner game or outergame too. When the other kids pursue him and he just runs away, is he an alpha as long as he doesnt give a damn and his ego is not hurt? Or being an alpha requires as well certain degree of social recognition and respect?
