 Whatup dude!!!!

Just got back from an epic trip in Whistler, BC Canada!

Straight was crazy!!!

I was up there partying with 12 other dudes, and it was absolute mayhem.  Party every night, party every DAY, and just unlimited runs on the mountain too.

Luckily I took my GoPro camera, and recorded it all.

BUT, sadly my camera fucked up on the vBlog, so I had to reshoot it in Chicago.

BUT!!!  I still created an epic montage at the beginning of the vid with me cruising on the slopes.

And if you stick around until the end, you'll see a SERIOUS bail.  Haha, it was pretty bad.

Lemme get straight into the vid, and then we'll talk some more after...

So it was sweet having a bunch of different groups of dudes sync up so well.  Every one got along, and it was interesting to see WHY that was.

Mostly it was just because all these dudes were straight up COOL!

Not players, not amazing with girls or anything, but just cool dudes who offered value, didn't ask for anything in return, just wanted to have a good time and some fun.

And it made me realize what so many guys do wrong in the community.

They are always trying to prove something.  They are always trying to make up for some insecurity, EVEN THE GUYS THAT ARE GOOD.

Because they CAME from a dark place, there is still that drive to prove themselves.

And even deeper, that insecurity always sits there, and when someone jokes around, guy or girl, instead of taking it for what it is...  A JOKE...

They assume the other person is making fun of them.

But as I mentioned in the video, of course, some people are mean.

Sift out the bullshit, and find positive people.  But then if they joke around, DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY!

Coolest shit in the world... This feels like what my boys and I do. It's hard for me to go out with dudes from the community because I already have cool friends, and to fake the funk makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes...

Not bad dude. I have to admit, when you said in a video a couple months ago that you used to be able to do 360s and shit, I was like "here we go, another dude talking a bunch of shit about how good he used to be when in reality he prob barely rides or just sits on the bunny slopes all day" lol.  But you rip it, I'm impressed! I want to get out to Whistler real bad... it's epic.  I'm jealous, prob was a sickkkk trip! Fuck the girls, I'll take a week in Whistler over any valentine.

This is exactly the sort of thing I've been trying to figure out for a while. You've made some distinctions that I no longer need to think about anymore. There is one thing however, how do you "sniff" out the people who are simply being "negative" from the ones that are just joking around? Sometimes it's hard to tell because it seems like some people will masquerade a completely negative insult as a joke. Not sure if you know what I mean, but what do you think Brad?

Great video, Brad. The snowboarding footage was awesome.  You talked about a really important topic because it shows us the difference between "trying to be cool/trying to make a good impression" and just being relaxed, having some fun and offering value without asking for anything in return. This mindset makes a real difference because it guides our thoughts, feelings and actions towards enjoying life and having fun with people around us. We become happier, we make other people happier, and as a consequence, it makes us naturally attractive to women.

Wow... there are times when I look back on social situations and I remember being a value leech and I wouldn't even relieze it. I think thats the hardest part is being able to catch yourself when you are going into that negative insecure state. This video is exactly what I have been struggling with. I would always ask myself while I was hanging out friends, if I should take there jokes or "ripping on me" seriously. This also made me hesitient of being the first to rip on my friends because then I would be afraide that they would start riping on me and I wasn't comfortable with people riping on me. Obviously there is a balance but this video makes me relies not to take "riping on eachother" too seriously. Another thing, I realize that i am being a baby about congradulating people or being happy for one of my friends if they are doing better than me. Really what is going on when I get jelouse is that I don't give myself credit for the things I have done in my life so I feel like I am below my friends instead of there equal. Esspecially when it comes to girls. I know this is redicules as fuck but its like the fact that I never attracted a girl on my own to the point of having sex and im 21, completely ruins all of my other occomplishments in other areas of my life. Its like until I do that I won't feel like I am enough. I don't know why I put this much importance  to attracting girls. I mean obviously it would be fucking awsome to be able to attract hot girls and its a positive thing to work on but it shouldn't be the Main one and only thing that makes me valuable as a person. I should be proud of what I have done and the person I have become at this point. I should stay humble addmit my flaws and keep learning, but at the same time realize what I have accomplished and my strengths. Hopefully I will remember this tomorow and my sub-consicense won't fuck me and make me repeat the same mistakes and negative value leeching thought patterns. Comment any thoughts on this. I used to be so concerned about what the cool kids were doing and what they thought about me.  Then I realized that they don't fucking care about anything or what anyone thinks of them.
When us guys joke around and bust each other's balls you can tell who are secure and insecure.  I realize the more someone jokes around and picks on you, the more they like you.  In high school, I got picked on quite a bit and then I realized that the 'cool kids' felt inferior to me and tried to bring me to their level.  I skyrocketed past that level a long time ago.  No more fucking negativity!  When an AMOG pokes fun at me I play along and poke fun at myself which then makes them speechless lol.  
Flawless video editing Brad.  The inevitible happened with your camera, but the music along with the snowboarding is epic.  I learned a lot from your vid!
