Lets get started first with the huge dose of infield video!

This is a pretty awesome video because it shows, for the first time, how my game was for the girls time I was ever recorded.

After seeing myself recorded for the first time i saw how intense, weird and try hard I was.

This old type of game that i used to have was SOOOOOO TRY HARD, but, a perfect example of how you are probably playing your game.

The thing is, you - like me - are doing all the right actions, but its the energy behind it that is probably way off and making the girls freak out.

The best way to understand he difference in energy being a full cup with presence versus tipping your presence out, giving it away, and bleeding away your energy until you have less presence than you started with.

Thank to the beer for helping me demonstrate this!

****

Onto the full seminar from the huge Toronto free tour.

I was coming back from holidays with friends in Las Vegas and Croatia, and honestly i was feeling really depressed and kinda sad.

So I thought I would just let it all out, and explain the power of the word no, and declaring to myself the issues that i have, and that I have to face them with the increased pressure of the public eye.

Since making that presentation a couple of weeks ago i have absolutely committed to everything I spoke about, and I’m feeling incredible for doing so.

There is so much energy in depression and distress, you MUST confront yourself and learn how to re-channel the energy to use for good.

Enjoy this emotionally raw, and very revealing presentation. While is quite personal, I’m not too worried because; to quote the blueprint “the more personal the problem, the more universal.”

Something a little more lighthearted!

We get back to reality with this version of Ask Alex Anything. This week we tough on lesbian Amogs, the fattest girl i ever ‘fucked’ and what i would teach my son if i had one… or if i find one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRA9UxcU_vc

*****
And this weeks instalment of Valentin wisdom. Valentin is 21 years old and has taken on the role of my prodigy.

This guy is actually fucking brilliant. Amazingly smooth infield and is currently a paid bootcamp assistant. While helping on bootcamp he’s the perfect younger, more innocent force to compliment my experience and intensity.

This is the kinda guy who doing everything thing right to one day be a Full Time Professional pick up coach… and world class one at that.

Check him out here indulging his Swiss-Slovakian Sense of Entitlement!

Here he’s taling about a highly prevalent problem in the Pick Up community: the fact that many people smell like shit.

When Valentin started helping me with bootcamps he said “Man, what the fuck, so many guys at the free tours smell like a dog’s AssHole, what the fuck is going on?!”

I was like “I don’t know, for some reason they think that it’s ok to smell like shit.”

So he addressed it here.

We actually never meet guys at the free tour with aftershave or cologne on.

So here is the call to action! get some fucking cologne, smell nice, it make it easier to coach you, and you will then be considered attractive to the girls you approach, not “you don’t have a fucking chance’ status.

Thats it for now!

I’m working hard on trying to figure out how I can run immersion programs in cities like Sydney, London, Stockholm New York or Montreal. Its only a concept at this stage, but we’re thinking a lot about it for the upcoming year!

Follow me or like me on facebook and we’ll keep you up to date with the development of the concept! www.facebook.com/alexanderRSD

Thanks Alex for this videos. You have been talking about the topics of being relaxed and monopolizing your own emotions but until I've seen these infield videos with the schooner analogy I didn't realize I was misusing my energy.
Passion isn't bad in itself, in those past videos you were overcompensating a little bit however you were not being passionate, PASSION is when you are making love to a hot chick or you are accomplishing your dreams. In the video where you gave up on a girl (who even shows interest in you) you lacked that spark in your eyes(the I am gonna fuck this girl eye look... NO MATTER WHAT! DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE is the starting point from which every undertaking begins).

Yeah pretty fucking cringeworthy to see that recording. Funny enough it coincides with some insights I had about this today which are pretty much in the same direction. (Those are actually because of bloody Tinder! While that might sound lame, it's actually very cool stuff. But I'll make a post about that later, I'm still working on it.) Anyway, thanks for showing that recording, it's also very useful to see what NOT to do. Cool that you're honest and humble enough to show that stuff!
(And you had me laughing so much with those little clips with the beer, your expression was hilarious!)

I don't understand what a depression is to be honest, but nice video anyway. If a guy can be depressed and then become like you, there's hope for everybody in this world.

You want to know what is sick about Tinder, sometimes i open with : you seem like a girl that has a very spontaneous expression but i also think you have feelings that you are insecure about.

And more then half are like wtf how can u know this its soooo funny. if it works for you please donate money to the aids foundation

Alex, the footage from 2009 of overescalation/overenthusiasm was great!  It's an area I'm working very hard at changing.  Thanks!

I also liked the video on depression and keeping life balanced.  A lot of guys don't want to talk about it, but they should.  This must not become an obsession.

This is actually a really funny point you make Alex. I often notice this in college the most in the last year or two. Guys I sit next to and just getting into close proximity with many guys between the ages of 17-27 smell like a moldy, sweaty pair of unwashed, shit smeared underwear. Literally every few seconds wafts of stink are billowing out into the surrounding vascinity. One of the most important parts of being an attractive man is having everything together with grooming. Being freshly showered, wearing deodorant, brushing your teeth, carrying mints for breath, and wearing some descent sexy cologne is absolutely essential. Its amazing that 90% of young guys don't even consider that.

Contrasting your old game with your new game, is a genius move. Wished other instructors were smart enough to do that.

On a personal note, I ve been worried about you since i last saw you, my friend. Make sure you take care of yourself, i don t want this to end badly.

You re a very gifted person who was blessed to be allowed to shine in front of and influence thousands of people. You ve already done more with your life than most of the guys in your audience could ever dream of. So take it easy and don t let your appetite for life eat you alive.

I've followed you since day one and you re still the man. Take care ,-)

That's SO true! I think that is the best way to give people an actual feeling of what the correct behavior is. It's the best way to spot the differences. I think it would be amazing if more instructors would make such video's, back-to-back for instant effect.

Hi Alex, hey guys,

well, let's address the smell thing first. My suggestions. Take a shower, use some non-intense odor shower gel, followed by some odorless anti-transpirant, and change clothes completely before going out. That's it. In earlier days I have field-tested a lot of perfumes, scents and even pheromones. Some of them the girls (and even men occationally lol) loved a lot. But I realised that's the same like wearing a cool watch. A girl may enjoy my odor, but this does not make her liking me at all. In contrary, it may distract her attention or make me look as a try-hard in the worst case. Spending 100 $ for some crazy Dior scent would put you in the wrong mindspace. There is no reason why you - presupposing some basic hygiene - are not enough. My thoughts about depression later. Best regards

Great topic Alex. I appreciate the honesty as depression can be very difficult to discuss. Last year I was taking massive action in terms of pickup and as a result, my commitment to work lacked massively. I would drink pretty much every night I went out and the feeling of waking up hungover with less than an hours sleep - the pain was enough to make me cry. I was losing clients and almost got fired on a few occasions. So at this point, my job was on the line and my mental health was copping a beating. I will admit I was having some serious fun and was getting laid more and more frequently but I wasn't really focusing on any other areas of my life. I was like an empty shell with a tough exterior - I could put on a big smile and act as though I had my shit covered allthough in reality, this was far from the case. I made the best decision of my life to quit drinking about 4 months ago and have since developed some serious clarity. I read regurlarly and meditate daily. I love Tylers expression "tightening up or loosening up". While it may seem productive to stay home and watch TV instead of going out and drinking, you can still find more productive ways to spend your time. If I can recommend something which you should DEFINATELY check out, it's Vipassana Meditation. Retreats are held all over Australia (probably the rest of the world also) but basically it's a 10 day SILENT meditation. It's a great way to escape the rat race and push the reset button. At this point I have no interest in becomming buddhist but there are some fantastic concepts from Eastern philosophy which can be applied to live a happy existence within Western society. We are brainwashed by marketing and social conditioning to believe that we need to spend our money on shit but it never leads to happiness. Since RSD I've began to unplug from this matrix. Once again, great vid. I'm sure it resonates with many people. I'll finish on this final note: Things that require willpower such as avoiding junkfood, staying sober, reading a book, meditation or saving coin will ALWAYS lead to a greater outcome. Invest your effort wisely.

The try-hard beer analogy vid really made sense to me.  Went out last night w that as my only focus and crushed it.  Closed a hottie then went back to the bar and pulled two cute blondes for a late night after party.  Had such a good vibe the whole night flowed.

Really like the phrase "apply your work ethic towards holding your energy within yoyrself" versus applying it to "get girls".  Plan on hitting your hot seat in three different cities, can't wait

Hi Alex,

thanks for sharing some of your thoughts about feeling down from time to time. Like many million (billion?) people I made some of these experiences myself and had to deal with some of this in my family, too. First, I think it would never be a bad idea in this case to get some basic medical check-up and lab diagnostics, including some blood test for thyreoidal function (f.e. TSH), glucose level, liver enzymes, maybe vitamine B12, maybe plasma cortisol level, etc.
Second, in any case of feeling emotional exhausted for a longer period of timeI would consider to consult a doctor who has experience with diagnostics and treatment of burn-out syndrome. I for myself found the explainatory concept of "adrenal fatigue" very helpful. Based on the basic research of Selye et al. However, I would not purchase hundreds of dollars for some supplementory pills. Cutting off some major distressing factors in life and maybe indeed some fishoil and vitamin c was helpful in my case at least. Third, how to deal with partnership and sexuality seems me to be a big distress factor in our society, too. We are between two millstones. One fraction is saying sexuality is bad somehow, or at least should be very much restricted. And the other fraction says sex is like ice-cream without any categories of harm and guilt. I like RSD a lot, because you actually stress the importance of being responsible for your life and the kind of relationships we have. But it's like walking on a tight rope. To the left the risk of falling into a hedonistic "soul-damaging" lifestyle and to the right the risk of falling  into moral judgemental misogynistic thinking. Interestingly, f.e. Jesus neigher belonged to the one nor to the other side. On the one hand he spend his time with prostitutes and sinners on the other hand even his worst enemys, some ultra-orthodox pharisees, who were always around him, could not find any sin in his behavior, according to the very strict mosaic law. So I think, beyond any religion and morality, Jesus is good for getting some orientation in personal life issues. Other wise people may be good for this, too. Without doubt Tyler is on a good way to become this type of authority himself. LOL All the best

I'd love some discussion here interpretting and further explaning the "full cup of beer" analogy and how it manifests itself, because it is very easy to misinterpret.

How do you hook a girls attention while remaining centered and not giving energy away easily?
How loud do you talk? I could imagine talking a lot quieter just because you're "keeping your cup full".
Or am I completely missing the point?

The way I imagine it is almost like the attitude of a bouncer or "chill tough guy" vibe. He doesn't care much about you or anybody, resulting in not exerting any effort into the interaction.

Do you put in just enough effort to hook her attention?

The end result of the vibe I believe Alex is getting at is putting that "don't care" bouncer-type-of-guy into a setting where he wants to have fun, but is bored and uninterested in everything so the result is he walks around creating his own fun by doing shit.

I just want add something to my previous comment above:

RESPECT to you alex for having the balls to put yourself out there in ways i haven't seen any other instructor dare to do as of now: talking about your depression in such a deep, powerful and personnal way and showing mistakes you did through your old infield clips (while you were already an established instructor)... My hat goes off to you man!

I wished everyone here would realize (and i trust that they are) that you are putting yourself/your reputation on the line, in front of the whole world, just for the sake of helping us in our journey. Massive props and respect.

Wow, a 24 minute rant about struggling with alcoholism. You should find Jesus, like that guy said. There's lots of books that say that people managed to get rid of that shit by embracing Christianity. They go hand in hand (check out the Middle Ages). It also helps with depression, people live longer, you know.

On the other hand, the content is killer. It keeps getting better and better.

Well, the problem of people putting you on a pedestal should be gone now after the  09 vid . Haha. The energy video was a terrific video for me personally, I only wish I had seen this earlier. I did that kind of maniac shit with girls in my social circle, and actually got a girl yelling at me - wtf. During this time period I noticed that the ONLY girls I hooked up with happened to be girls who loved passionate people and were passionate and exciting themselves . So glad those days are behind me. Was acting a bit wierd.

I can relate to this so much it is actually freaking me out. I guess the guys who are into this need to strike a balance and find out who they really are, and not let the pick-up identity consume them. Pimping it in field and out of field essentially.

I can relate to this so much it is actually freaking me out. I guess the guys who are into this need to strike a balance and find out who they really are, and not let the pick-up identity consume them. Pimping it in field and out of field essentially.

the key to understanding this: learning pick up is an expansion of how you express yourself, not a personality transplant. And expansion of your capabilities, making you smoother, smarter and more responsive.

that is the way of the natural!

Great videos here are my thoughts

First tims in the field video
I think my game is a little like that and need to work more on relaxed and chill. The thing is it is so difficult on the one hand you need to plough if she is not gving you anything and on the other hand you need relax and chill and when you stop talking and give her a chance to talk. She then has to leave. I have had this expereince in daygame and can be frustrating.

Alex is depressed
Some great advice and somthing i learend recently is having a boundary. I am the same don't drink and vegeterian and the amount of times i get shit and tested. This is good as when you can say no it means you have no holes in your boundary and have a strogn identity.

Great videos.

Also Alex i met you at the hotseat in London where i asked you a question about going out as i was going out 5 days a week and getting sick and tired. I have now found the balance with your adivce and things are much better. Thanks

This article kind of contradicts what Tyler and other RSD are trying to say before. I kind of like it, but a little bit splitted on which to follow, cos I believe in this one where work is much better to get the greater goal in life

Hey maxaj

I agree the problem is I have had experiences where if I do to much self help, going out, reading books and I cut of from things I enjoy doing, I start feeling very angry and bitter inside. I think this is why balance is important as to much of one thing is bad. Example i like geeky things like watching paranormal documentry, sci fi, Columbo, comedy. I had stopped that before and sacraficed it to get better at pickup and found i started feeling really empty. Rather then making me feel good and better it made me feel worse. So now I mix it up and balance it out and feel so much better for it.

Alex thanks for these vids! The one on depression and pickup is amazing and the best ive seen on how pickup can be an empowering tool or a destructive one.

The other vid is one of the funniest rsd has ever put out. Oh my gawd im rolling at some of that infield. And every guy who really does this shit can relate. Unbelievably funny! Its great how showing yourself sucking isnt negative like you think. I now love you ten times more than before I saw that. Capital, just capital!

Alex, why no trip to D.C.?  I'd love to check out your hotseat if it came through the DMV.
